Does the Real Estate Market Pick up Post Election?

It’s always the big question: will the real estate market in the metro area pick up after the elections? There are new jobs but how much of an effect does it really have? They say that only 2,500 homes will change owners from elections impact. Typically the DC area has around 50,000 sales annually. The 2,500 is about a 5% increase. The Washington DCarea has an ever expanding job market. With so many jobs being created outside of the government, the change of Adminstration packs a smaller punch then maybe it used to.
